This page brings together all the parts of the site that allow you to manage your account. Apart from "Reset password", you'll need to be logged in before you can access any of these options. And, of course, you'll need your password to do that - so if you've forgotten your password, or lost the e-mail you were sent when you first joined the site, click on "Reset password" to start. A new password will be sent to the e-mail address that we have for you.

Reset password	You need a valid password to gain access to the members' only area of the site. You should have received an initial password when you joined but if you've forgotten it or lost it, then click here, enter the e-mail address that we have for you and a new one will be sent to you. Sometimes mail systems treat e-mail from this site as junk mail. So if you haven't received your new password in a few minutes, try looking in your junk e-mail folder.

Change your username	When you were first set up on the system, your username was set to your e-mail address. But your e-mail address isn't probably the way that most people know you. You can change your username on the site to something that other people will recognise (such as your first name). However, no two people can have the same username so you might have to set it to something like your first name and the initial of your surname. Or whatever you like.

Change your password	The first password you were given was just a random selection of numbers and letters. You can change it to something you'll find easier to remember, so long as you follow these rules: Passwords are case sensitive (upper case and lower case letters are not the same), so "Password", "password" and "PASSWORD" are all completely different. Passwords must only contain numbers and the letters a-z (no punctuation marks). Passwords must be at least eight characters long and must contain at least two letters and at least two numbers.

Edit your profile	Want to tell other members of the group something about yourself? Want to stop receiving e-mails from the group? You can do this and more on your personal profile page - including loading a photo so other people know what you look like. Please keep photos to face shots even if people normally recognise you by other parts of your anatomy.

Change your e-mail	If you are changing e-mail accounts, then you can let us know here. You'll need to use the e-mail address we have for you currently to log in (together with your password) but once you've changed it, you'll use your new e-mail address to log in and this is where we'll send you any news from the group (if you've asked us to do so).
