In order to access this web site you will need to have supplied an administrator with your email address. You should then have received an email with your password. Some e-mail systems may treat mail from this site as spam or junk mail so remember to check in your junk folder for your password.

Once you have logged in for the first time, we suggest you:

• Change your password to something you will find easier to remember
• Change your username - when you are first set up on the site, it will show as your email address. We suggest you use your first name since that's probably how people know you in the group. Your username must, however, be unique. So, for example, if there are two Dannys in the group and the username Danny has already been taken, you'll need to think of another name (perhaps your first name plus initial).

Problems?

If the system doesn't recognise your password, then it's probably because you've entered the password in the incorrect case. Passwords on the site are case sensitive. That means that "Password", "password" and "PASSWORD" are all completely different. Passwords must contain at least eight characters. At least two of these must be numbers and the remainder alphabetic unaccented characters (i.e. letters a-z in upper or lower case).

If you have forgotten your password, then you can have the system reset it for you by following this link: reset password. Your new password will be sent to your registered email address - that's the address that you use to log in. Once you have your new, system-generated password, you can change it to something you'll find easier to recognise here.

If you are constantly asked for your login as you access different areas of the site or, if after logging in, the menu bar still displays "Login", then you probably don't have cookies enabled on your browser. This site requires you to enable cookies. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, you can set this by going to Tools - Internet Options. You should set the privacy settings to anything below "High". Alternatively, if you want to maintain your existing cookie settings at a higher level, then you can add www.gmg.org.uk to your list of "Trusted sites". Please note that we do not store any personal information in your cookies - we just use them to keep your login active while the browser is still open.
